While visiting Greenpoint, New York to plan the upcoming F/W 16 show at the Brooklyn Expo Center (July 21-23) we discovered this gem of a shop, called People of 2Morrow and placed in the same building as the Expo Center on Franklin Street.
Specializing in carefully curated vintage pieces, the shop also had some beautiful new articles for the home as well as toys and jewelry.
Started by Sybil Domond a year ago, it is no surprise she has a background in fashion as evidenced by the lovely and tactile objects she sells in her store.
This hanging textile is what first caught our attention on the street, with the white web juxtaposed nicely against the black ceiling.
Pretty items for the home and contemporary jewelry are our favorite things in this shop.
Lots of soft toys and happy childlike motifs give the store a playful feel.
There are a mixed selection of used clothes with some truly authentic vintage collection pieces.
People of 2Morrow also have an online catalog where you can buy some of their in-store merchandise but suggest you also check out the store in person when you visit the SPINEXPO show in July as it is full of hidden treasures.
